Hoffman & Tranel, PC is seeking an individual to fill a Bookkeeping Staff position.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions
- Balance accounts by reconciling entries
- Maintain general ledger, verifying balance sheet with account balances
- Maintain historical records by filing documents
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying and enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, advising management on needed actions
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing additional tasks as needed
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Prior bookkeeping experience preferred
- Ability to plan and organize to meet required deadlines
- Problem solving analysis
- Knowledge of bookkeeping practices
- Ability to analyze financial information
- Ability to deal with complexity
- Possess data entry skills
- Attention to detail
- The ability to effectively communicate and provide customer service
